At Archangels Catholic Parish, our societies and devotional groups form the heart of our spiritual life. Each group helps parishioners grow in faith, service, and community, following the teachings of the Church and the examples of the saints.

Below are the various parish groups and their meeting schedules:

Devotional and Spiritual Societies

  • Guild of St. AnthonyEvery Tuesday by 2:00 PM
    Seeking the intercession of St. Anthony in prayer and service.

  • Divine Mercy SocietyEvery Tuesday by 3:00 PM
    Spreading the message of mercy through prayer and acts of love.

  • Sacred Heart of Jesus & Immaculate Heart of Mary SocietyEvery Thursday
    Honoring the compassionate hearts of Jesus and Mary.

  • Precious Blood DevotionEvery Thursday by 10:00 PM
    Adoring the saving power of the Blood of Christ through night prayers.

  • Legion of MaryEvery Saturday by 2:30 PM
    Evangelizing and serving under the banner of Our Lady.

  • Catholic Charismatic Renewal (CCR)Every Tuesday by 5:00 PM
    Empowered by the Holy Spirit for praise, worship, and renewal.

St. Michael Society (Yoruba Community)

Patron Saint: St. Michael the Archangel

The St. Michael Society is the vibrant Yoruba Community of Archangels Catholic Parish, united in faith, language, and culture.Guided by our heavenly protector, St. Michael the Archangel, we promote worship, fellowship, and service through the richness of Yoruba tradition and the Catholic faith.

Meeting Day: Every second Sunday after Mass

St. John de Evangelist Edo Community

 

Patron Saint:  St. John the Evangelist

The St. John de Evangelist Edo Community represents the Edo-speaking faithful of Archangels Parish. With St. John the Evangelist as their model, members are called to spread the light of truth and deepen their devotion to the Word of God and the Catholic faith.

Meeting Day: Every second Sunday after Mass

Motto: “In Truth and Charity.”

 

St. Francis (Delta Community)

Patron Saint: St. Francis of Assisi

The St. Francis Delta Community brings together parishioners from Delta State in unity and service. Inspired by the humility and peace of St. Francis of Assisi, members foster love for creation, simplicity of life, and a deep sense of brotherhood within the parish.

Meeting Day: Every second Sunday after Mass

Motto: “Peace and Goodness in Christ.”

Blessed Tansi Igbo Community

Patron Saint:  Blessed Cyprian Michael Iwene Tansi

The Blessed Tansi Igbo Community unites all Igbo-speaking Catholics within Archangels Parish. Inspired by the life of Blessed Cyprian Michael Tansi, the community promotes holiness, family devotion, and active service in the Church. 

Meeting Day: Every second Sunday after Mass

Motto: “Holiness in Life and Service.”

SS Peter and Paul

Ss. Peter and Paul Benue Community

Patron Saint: St. Francis of Assisi

The Ss. Peter and Paul Benue Community is a close-knit group of parishioners from Benue State, bound by faith and friendship. Guided by their patron saints—Pillars of the Church—they strive to grow in unity, courage, and missionary zeal. 

Meeting Day: Every second Sunday after Mass

Motto: “Faith, Unity, and Apostolic Zeal.”

St. Benedict Akwa Ibom Community

 

Patron Saint: St. Francis of Assisi

The St. Benedict Akwa Ibom Community brings together the faithful from Akwa Ibom State, fostering harmony, service, and faithfulness through the example of St. Benedict.
